The
HS300 is a lightweight but rugged, hand-held surface contouring sensor.
It is controlled via a single trigger. Two sampling modes are available:
"laser hold", for pinpoint placement over a particular region: and "free-run,"
which takes and processes samples continuously as long as the trigger is
activated. An LED on top of the sensor indicates an out-of-spec condition
for any measurement, and its piezoelectric buzzer can sound an audible
warning. The sensor can also be configured with an optional 2 row
x 16 character LCD for the display of messages and measurements. |

Stand-offs
are used to control sensor height for the most precise sensor positioning.
The basic stand-off design works for most flat or curved surfaces, but
custom stand-off's may be needed for unique parts or applications. |
