Measurements
1. Step - difference in y distance between the surfaces of the two joined parts, shown as "Step" in the data table.
2. Runout - angle difference between the surfaces of the two joined parts, shown as "Runout" in the data table.

Sensors and Controllers
Sensor selection will be dependent on the size of the part and the field-of-view required to capture both sides of the joined part.  Any of the sensors and controllers could be used for the application.  Normally this type of measurement is made with an on-line system utilizing the Series 3000 controller with a RS400 sensor.
