With
all the measurement capabilities of the hand-held sensors, the RS400 is
ideal for applications that do not require portability or manual positioning.
By utilizing mounting holes on either side, the sensor can easily be attached
to a fixture or robot end-effector for on-line measurement applications.
Air flow internal to the sensor cools and automatically purges the sensor
optics enabling the sensor to be used in harsh environments.
While
the RS400 is typically used with the Series 3000 in an on-line application,
it can be used with the other controllers. |
